ARTIST: MARC URBANO

Pacific Coast Gallery is honored to represent Marc Urbano. Marc is one of the top automotive photographers working in the world today. In addition to being a staff photographer at Car & Driver for over 20 years, Marc is also one of Porsche's main commercial photographers. Working with Porsche, Marc has unparalleled access to many classic and one of a kind Porsches from the Porsche Museum. We are proud to offer Marc's photos of these classic Porsches as fine art photographs for the first time.

Marc has been working as a professional photographer since the mid 90s, when he graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a degree in photography. He quickly joined the staff of Car & Driver, as well as Road & Track and Cycle World. In addition to shooting commercially for Porsche, Marc has also shot for almost every other leading auto manufacturer including BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Mini, Honda, Fiat Chrysler, General Motors, Volkswagen and many others.

Marc is based in Detroit, and when he's not shooting, he likes to race Porsches and motorcycles.

Every year the Motor Press Guild recognizes some of the best work in automotive journalism. This year, Marc received the Bob D’Olivo Award for Photography for the cover of the June 2019 issue of Porsche Panorama.

Urbano’s cover image of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS was taken inside a garage at Road America, for a story comparing the 911 GT3 RS and a GT2 RS on track, after the GT2 RS set a production car track record.
